Is a Career as a Certified Dog Trainer For You?

There are some careers people are just born to do and there are other careers that may not cross a person’s mind unless it is brought to their attention. A certified dog trainer may be one of these careers. There is a great need by some who need help training their dog. Maybe they do not know how to handle dog aggression or they are losing the battle over puppy training. In either case, a certified trainer can help out by providing discipline, guidance and knowledge.

Becoming a certified dog trainer begins with a love of animals. It requires patience and a desire to interact with the animal. Dog obedience training takes knowledge and a compassionate nature in order for there to be success. Most people do not turn to a certified dog trainer until there is an obvious sign of dog aggression and then the battle begins. Dog training starts when the animal first comes home and continues throughout the life of the canine.

Most training programs begin with the basics, which will help one to understand dog aggression, animal physiology and psychology as well as learning how to communicate with the animal. puppy training is where most people come into contact with their first problems. A certified dog trainer takes classes on how to deal with a puppy just as a school teacher takes classes to learn how to teach a child.

Once the basics of dog behavior are understood, then begins the specialized coursework designed to train a dog through a variety of methods. The instruction will teach the human how to use a variety of instructions in order to train the dog. Two methods include the use of a clicker or through the use of positive reinforcement. Other steps include teaching safety to the owners as well as the dog. It is also very important to learn how to deal with aggressive dog behavior, perhaps because of a past history of violence or dog fighting. Once the coursework is complete, the certified dog trainer is ready to begin working. There are a variety of places to work such as pet supply stores, kennels or even opening up a business. One great example of a trainer is Cesar Millan, who works with troubled dogs and their owners on his hit television show ‘The Dog Whisperer’, which airs on cable.

Imagine getting to work with animals and playing all day. Well it isn’t all fun and games. A certified dog trainer does work hard and it requires discipline but the rewards are amazing. Fame and glory may not work out for you as it did for Cesar Millan, but you can still be extremely important to the dogs you help train. Your legacy will be one of happy pets and thrilled owners that consider you a part of their family.

Ten Steps to Successfully Having a Ten Figure Income

Seeing Yourself In Billionaire Status

Author: Rob Walcher D.C.

Can you imagine yourself earning a ten figure income?  Think about in terms of really happening; not just a dream of winning the lotterybut earning a ten figure income.  In the United States there are in the area of 3 million millionaires.  With a population of 300 million that translates into about 1% of all Americans being millionaires.

Look even more closely and you will see that there are 360 billionaires in the United States.  Can you see yourself as a billionaire?

The ranks of the super-rich are growing every day.   After all, the step-up from millionaire to billionaire is only three orders of magnitude (1,000), requiring only one thousand, million-dollar chunks.

Can you see yourself in that number?  Basically, there are ten steps to achieving a ten-figure income.  How many are already in your life?  How many areas still need work?

1. You Must have a Vision

The first step is seemingly simple but is where many people go wrong.  You have to have a dream, and your dream has to be in full color.  Having a dream for yourself and your family is having a vision of where you want to be in your future.

you got to have a dream if you dont have a fream how you gonna have a dream come true?

So simple. So true. So important.  Yet too many people walk through life with no vision at all.  How can they ever have their dreams come true?

Motivation is not enough; you have to be motivated to dream yourself through the creation and implementation of your vision.

2. WHY?

You have to know why you want to be super rich.  Not for the obvious things like material possessions but for the other reasons that you want to earn and live a wealthy life.

Find your higher calling and figure out why you feel this must be your destiny. Asking these questions and knowing your reasons for certain will ensure success.

3. Mentors

You do not have to be a pioneer.  There are tons of people who have done this before you and they have a lot of lessons in their experience.

You can learn from their coaching, their books or other means.  Let them be the pioneer and you can reap the benefits of their knowing.

4. Locate an Income Vehicle That Can Produce 100K per Month

You dont want to inch your way to the top, you want to soar like an eagle.  In order to do this you have to find a compelling, marketable service or product that costs more than $15-20.

There is an avenue that exists that will help make your dreams come true. Think about growing and earning your business on the big time level.

5. Network with People

J. Paul Getty said

It is easier and makes more sense to earn 1% of 100 people than 100% off of your own efforts.

Oilman J. Paul Getty coined that phrase and look where it got him.

This is valuable insight that will allow you to utilize the talents and efforts of others for your own betterment.  Many network marketing opportunities exist which offer the individual entrepreneur an incredible venue for finding the efforts of others for your own use.  You must include this in your plan.

6.  Let Money Work For you, Be Debt Free & Think Long term

The biggest difference between the middle class and the wealthy is that the middle class spend most of their time working or earning their money.  They are stuck paying interest on loans etc, while the rich are earning from their interest.

Investing your money in a consistent means will mean safe returns without risk.  Take the time to learn from the wealthy how to invest wisely.  Above all us, you have to develop a wealthy persons mindset in all areas of finance.

7. Develop Healthy Habits: Work Out; Exercise; Eat Right

Another quote from J. Paul Getty:  The individual who wants to reach the top in business  must appreciate the might and force of habit.  He must be quick to break those habits that can break him “  and hasten to adopt those practices that will become the habits  that help him achieve the success he desires.

Where you are today is the sum total of choices (both large and small; both good and bad) that you have made every day in your past.  It has been said that it takes 21 days to form a habit.  Whether or not that is true, you can certainly use it to create good habits in your life.  Achieving good health (and a healthy state of mind) is as imperative to your wealth as any business model you might latch onto.

Your body is the vehicle that will maintain you through it all.  You must treat yourself well physically and mentally in order to succeed in life.  Good health leads to a good mind and that is the number one tool to being a good business man.

8. Strive for Excellence

No one in this world is perfect, but it is a fact that you must always strive for the best in life.  Greatness and success are achieved by a person only when they have made a conscious effort to include those expectations in every aspect of their life.

Pursue your dreams with all your heart.  And give it your best.  Pursue excellence with as much discipline as a champion athlete.  It will pay off!

9. Envision Your Future

It is one thing to have a dream, it is another to dream.  You need to do both at all times.  Use powerful tools of intention, meditation and imagery to keep the dream alive and remember to proactively dream as you move through your life.

Some useful tools are image boards, goal maps, dream boards but any vehicle you choose to solidify your dream will allow it to manifest in your life.  You can write it in a journal, on index cards.  The basis is to always see the dream coming true and look toward how you want your future to be. Focus on your intention and it will be.

10. Never Never Never Quit!

Always remember that you will make mistakes or err in your judgment and even make a few bad decisions.  These may set you back a bit, but as long as you dont quit you have not failed.  The difference in being successful and being a failure is your ability to make concessions and get moving again if you hit a pitfall.

If you have set your goal to have a ten-figure income, keep putting one foot in front of the other no matter what life throws at you.

Whatever you can believe and conceive, you can achieve.

Rob Walcher can be considered as one who sets these ten steps into motion on a daily basis. He shot to the top in two different direct sales companies in a matter of 18 months and has become known as the Ten-Figure Guru. Rob has subsequently helped hundreds of entrepreneurs achieve their own success. The Importance of Planning For Your New Home Business

You’ve decided to start your own home business, perhaps because you hate your current job and loathe getting up early in the morning to travel to work every day, or maybe because you regret not being there to see all the milestones in your children’s growth. You could be approaching retirement and worrying about the lifestyle you will be forced into.

Whatever your reason, starting your own home business will give you flexibility and if done well, will bring in that extra income you are after. Even if your funds are very limited, you can still get going by starting part-time while you work your regular job. The important thing is to plan, know what you want to do and then get started. Plenty of other people have built a very profitable online business working from home and so can you!

Be aware that almost half of all small businesses fail in the first five year of operation and that your profits may not come as quickly as some advertisements would have you believe, but if you plan well, are committed to action and just keep following the steps, you will make it happen.

The following are basic steps to follow that will help you keep on the path to success with your own home business:

1. Vision
Know the big picture of where you want to go, what you want to achieve and why you want to achieve it. See it in your mind, imagine that you have already reached your goal and feel how that would feel. The more emotion you put into your vision, the more likely you are to succeed. Most entrepreneurs have had such a clear vision.

2. Planning
This is where you set your goals; make them:
(a) specific
(b) measurable
(c) achievable
(d) timely, meaning they must have a deadline

3. Options
Consider all your options then decide on one course of action that suits you best right now. Some things to consider are:

(a) What kind of work can you do from home?

(b) Suitability
What fits with your skills and your interests?

(c) Costs
Work out what you can afford to spend to get your new business established and then see what home business model fits within this budget and your interests.

(d) Business structure
You can be a sole trader, form a partnership, a company/corporation or perhaps just start out as a hobby. Some of these structures cost money to set up, but may suit your personal circumstances better. As always, understand the options, then decide what is best for you.

(e) Registrations, tax and other legalities
These will depend on local regulations and the business structure you choose, but whatever they are, you need to make yourself familiar with them.

(f) Personal and family issues
It’s always best to discuss your business plans with your family, even when they will not be involved in the business side. You may need to share resources, such as computer/internet time, perhaps desk or table space if you will not have a separate office, you will probably have family commitments, but you also need to make sure you will be able to have quality time to work on your business and not be expected to drop it for other family matters just because you are at home. It’s important that everyone in the family acknowledges that you are running a business and not just toying with it.

(g) Enjoyment
You have to like this work! You will appreciate (and studies have proven) that when people really enjoy their work, are even passionate about it, they willingly put more time in, are less likely to give up and therefore are more likely to succeed.

4. Action
Consistent ongoing action, small steps + consistency = success

(a) Do something on your business every day for 21 days. This will form a habit of doing it and make it easier for you to commit your time.

(b) Prepare a brief outline for each day of the week. This lets you start right in on the task planned when you might otherwise be tempted to spend time reading emails or web surfing. The outline can be very brief, just one line for each day is OK. Your list will depend on your business and the time you have available, but could be something like this:

i. Monday - write a draft for an article
ii. Tuesday - post to your blog, send an email follow-up to your list or submit comments on someone else’s blog or a forum
iii. Wednesday - polish your article and submit to article sites
iv. Thursday - list another product on eBay or on your website
v. Friday - research for new products, articles etc

(c) The weekly planning session is also a good time to evaluate how the previous week went. If things did not go as well as you hoped, don’t be disheartened, see how you can do it better next time.

5. Repeat this cycle over and over. You do not always have to have the same business model, but the steps will apply to any model you choose.

6. Success will come inevitably when you follow this pattern.

To make it easy to remember, these steps are labelled WHY, WHAT, HOW, NOW steps (where Now means Action or DO IT!)

The importance of planning sufficiently or effectively cannot be stressed enough. If you want your business to be successful (and you do, or else why bother to start at all?), make sure you plan well and then keep taking action based on your plans.

Stop and reassess your progress periodically, make changes where you can see a better way, but keep the momentum rolling and your home business will be a success.

Working At Home As A Virtual Assistant

If you have good administrative skills and secretarial skills, and would like to work at home, you might consider setting up business as a Virtual Assistant, or VA.

A VA is someone who works from home to provide administrative support to various business clients via the Internet, email, fax, and the telephone. In most cases the client and VA never actually meet in person; as long as both parties are connected to the Internet, where each happens to be located is “virtually” irrelevant.

As a Virtual Assistant you would be able to offer a range of services such as word processing, typing and correspondence tasks, data entry, transcription, proof-reading and editing services, online filing, email and voicemail, newsletter and brochure writing and handling, social media, website and blogging work, billing, database handling, book-keeping, party and event planning, Internet research… and anything else your clients might want to throw at you!

You would have to decide whether to offer a whole range of services or whether to specialize and concentrate on just one or two.

The Virtual Assistant industry is relatively new, but it is set to grow fast as more and more business managers come to see the advantages of outsourcing administrative tasks to online professionals.

The most obvious advantage is the cost savings for businesses. With the onset of recession you can expect companies to take this more and more into consideration, further stimulating the growth in demand for Virtual Assistants.

Cost savings go beyond the basic consideration of getting a particular job done more cheaply by outsourcing it. Unlike regular employees, VAs come with little “baggage” such as lateness, sickness, time-wasting, health and sickness, unions, pensions and employee legislation, plus the cost of maintaining an office in which they can work. All these factors suggest that more and more businesses will look with increasing interest on outsourcing their work to VAs.

So how much could you charge for your services? Anything between $10 and $80 per hour, depending on the service and your qualifications. Basic services such as word processing can start at around $10-$15 per hour, or you could choose to charge by the word, especially if you are a fast typist. If you offer book-keeping, document editing or composition services you should be able to charger higher rates and still offer your clients a saving when compared to the price of doing the job in-house.

As a VA working at home alone you may think that there is only so much that you can do, and therefore there must be a limit to the amount you can earn. However, that is not necessarily the case.

As your client base grows you could think about building your own team of VAs and subcontracting work to them for a commission. Many people would be only too pleased to have someone supply them with a means of income without having to go out and find it on their own account.

For those VAs in your team who want to build their own business, you can provide them with the set up services they need by affiliating with a web hosting provider and other necessary services and build an extra stream of residual income.

The basic tools to get started are a computer with an Internet connection, a telephone and a fax. A website where you can advertise your services and provide contact details would also be useful.

Amazing Opportunities Lies Before You Today

There is no question that you and everybody else can sense the pressure from the current economic situation in the world. Maybe you even wonder where it’s going to end. Even if you have worries about this, that doesn’t mean you have to crumble under the pressures like many others. There is still opportunities out there and industries that does not slow down due to these facts.

One industry in particular is just cruising along as if nothing has happened and actually sees an increased growth. This industry is the work-from-home industry and the many home-business opportunities that exist is growing larger as we speak.

Unemployment benefits today is sitting around $250-$300 per week and frankly, do you see that amount covering putting food on the table, paying the rent etc etc? Many people are getting several jobs, others are looking into more unconventional ways of building a bigger income and the Internet is a tremendous source for these kinds of solutions. One big advantage that the Internet opportunities has to offer is that of time-efficiency and the possibility to make money without sacrificing time. Do not misunderstand me when I am saying this because you will need to put in time to get a Internet-business started.

Growth in life is all about taking opportunities when they present themselves and today we are facing a fantastic one in terms of unconventional methods of getting an income. It’s all up to you. Which does seem more appealing? Taking that 8-9 hrs Walmart-job or working your own hours and even getting paid while having vacation sometimes. Walmart and other nine to five jobs are perfectly ok and many people are satisfied with the continuity and safety it presents but if you have the slightest dream increasing your chances of having a bigger income and a more flexible life-style you should consider the work-from-home business.

The work you will put in from the start will feel like a big obstacle at first but believe me, when you are through that first phase and begin to see commission-checks coming in you will feel a huge satisfaction of having taken control of your own destiny and life. You will at that moment be transformed from being a controlled employee to a person in-charge of yourself and your income 100%.
